Top Music and Podcasts Apps on iOS in Costa Rica for Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the music and podcasts category on iOS in Costa Rica showed varied performance among the top apps, as reported by Sensor Tower.

YouTube Music from Google saw a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $10.6K in late February. Weekly downloads gradually decreased from 1.3K to 889 by the end of March, while active users exhibited an upward trend, reaching nearly 29.8K.

TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports experienced fluctuating weekly revenue, starting at $868 and settling around $357 at quarter's end. Downloads started strong at 780 but dropped significantly, averaging around 40 weekly. Active users followed a similar pattern, decreasing from 573 to 251.

Deezer: Music Player, Podcast maintained a steady revenue stream, peaking at $487 in late February. Downloads remained relatively low, with a slight increase to 78 mid-March before declining again. Active users dropped from 2.8K to just over 2K by the end of the quarter.

Radio App - FM Live Stations showed a consistent download rate, averaging around 140 per week, with revenue peaking at $293 mid-March before settling at $209.

Finally, Airbuds.FM for Spotify Music demonstrated a steady rise in both downloads and active users throughout the quarter. Downloads increased from 191 to over 500, while active users grew from 954 to 1.8K. Revenue also peaked at $441 in mid-March.
